There is many way for us to enjoy our time in beach. Especially for kids. They can play with sand, or just wait for the waves to crash the shore. But, it’s quite different when you visit Malimbu Beach in Lombok, Indonesia. There, you can climb the Malimbu Hill, and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and the coast from the hilltop. It’s a paradise for many photographers and sunset’s hunters. Why? Because there you can spread your sight along the wide landscape. You can have the best angle to enjoy sunset across Malimbu Beach, Satangi Beach, Gunung Agung (Great Mount) and the three gilis or small islands, namely Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. Simply amazing!

Malimbu Beach is located approximately 5 km to the west of Sengigi Beach, right at the way through to Gili Trawangan. There are two stopovers as haven to enjoy the beautiful the beach. The second stopover is about 3km away from the first. This second stopover is often called “the Malimbu view” is a bend in the road located at the top of a hill, which directly opposite to the sea. The hillside is a fairly deep ravine, so there is a hedge which was built for the safety of visitors. This hilltop is also equipped with adequate parking lot.

The beauty of Malimbu coral-full beach is even more adoring with rolls of wave. Local and foreign tourists are always amazed every time they visits this place. The morning sight of the site, where the beach scene will reflects sunlight, is one of the finest sight in this tropical world. The sun reflections is also lead the azure water of Malimbu Beach become more bright and attractive. However, the most eagerly awaited visiting time is at the evening, around 6 pm. In this time, there is a view of the sunset which became a favorite of thousands visitors.
